The Alexander Beach Hotel and Convention Centre is built in a beautiful coastal locality of 24 acres in a suburb of Alexandroupolis in the western entry of city.

The centre of Alexandroupolis is within walking distance from the Hotel. Alternatively you may reach the city centre by taxi or by bus service (regular bus service every 15 minutes).

Official Language
The official language of the congress is English. Simultaneous translation is not provided.

The Opening Ceremony & Reception will take place on Saturday, 19th September 2009. All participants are invited.

Certificate of Attendance Certificates of attendance will be provided on request by the Conference Secretariat on the last day of the Conference.
Electricity Electricity is 220 V/50 Hz. Plugs are the standard continental (DIN) type with two round pins.

Credit Cards All major credit cards are accepted in almost all hotels, shops and restaurants. Stickers in the front windows will advise you as to which cards are accepted.

Banks Banks are open from Monday to Thursday 8:00-14:30 and on Friday 8:00-14:00; on Saturdays and Sundays they are closed. ATMs are widely available in Greece for Master, Diners, American Express or Visa cardholders.
Currency Euro is the official currency of Greece. Foreign currency, traveler’s checks and Eurocheques can be exchanged at the exchange office at the airport bank upon arrival or at the hotel or at banks located throughout Alexandroupolis.
